Welcome to my new blog.
I was inspired by images on the internet of an installation of 650 red and white quilts in New York. This photo is from here on March 29th 2011. The quilts were from the collection of Joanna S. Rose and more can be seen here . They looked stunning, and how much better would it have been to be there. So I have decided to make a red and white quilt.

Whilst I admire someone who can take just two fabrics and make multiple blocks from these two, I know I won't be able to. So my quilt will come from many, many red and white fabrics.
